A slow-growing evergreen conifer with a globose form. Needles are mostly white, or white at the tip of the blue-green needles. The name means "snow in the valley" in Japanese. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 18" tall x 18" wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5-9
