An upright evergreen conifer selected at The Dawes Arboretum. Famous for its fantastic mottled, exfoliating bark with large portions colored in silver. Limb up gradually to reveal the wonderful trunk. Prefers full sun in well-drained soil. 6' tall x 3' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -30 degrees. USDA zone 4-8.
