Red Dragon Dwarf Japanese Maple Dissectum Acer palmatum
 
A deciduous, slow-growing, compact dissectum. Spring color is deep maroon-red which remains strong throughout the season. Fall color is a brilliant orange-red. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 4' tall x 4' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.
