Pastel Japanese Maple Acer palmatum
 
An upright deciduous tree. Early spring leaves are pale pink, then develop black veins by summer. Fall color is deep red. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 10' tall by 6' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5. Discovered and introduced by the Flora Wonder Collection of Buchholz Nursery.
