A slow-growing, upright deciduous shrub with highly-dissected leaves that emerge in shades of light-to-deep green. In fall, leaves glow with gold and scarlet. Foliage is more finely cut than A. j. 'Green Cascade'. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 5' tall x 2' wide in 10 years if left naturally. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.
