An upright deciduous tree with a broad canopy. Small green leaves are edged in purple in spring. Fall color ranges from yellow to orange to red. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 10' tall by 6' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5. Discovered and introduced by the Flora Wonder Collection of Buchholz Nursery.
